First things First

While Ruby takes a nap, I thought I'd actually write a real blog today. Not just a - here we are again! - type blog. If I don't get started now, we just may fade off into the blogging sunset like we did before.

This weekend was amazing. We felt a little spontaneous and headed out to the Outlet Malls in Aurora early Saturday morning and we were blessed with the most 'go with the flow' baby ever.

Today, however,  has been pretty interesting! Ruby is currently working on pushing through her first tooth. For those who know our happy little babe, she is generally a pretty happy baby and (dare I say it) a GREAT night sleeper. Unfortunately, that was not the case last night. Poor Ruby (and poor me really...) was up from 11pm until 3:30am crying from this little toothy addition. Tylenol and baby Orajel pretty much saved us from it being worse, but I think we're both recovering today. 

I can't believe this little baby is already getting teeth! At least we know there is some progress behind all the drool!

Back to my tasks at hand, while the little catches up on some shut-eye.
